I came across this article.
I personally am not too concerned about it. Biting has been going on in middle schools for ages. As far as I know, its never been a serious issue, and most people don't actually intend to draw blood. But, this is a new day and age and Twilight has made an impact on people.

I know that when I heard about this phenomenom, it did not initially shock me. People these days have all types of fetishes and ways that they choose to show affection. However, it does concern me that people are biting and drawing blood from their partners. This exchang of bodily fluids is not only unsanitary, but could pose another unforseen risk for the transferring of disease.

ReplyDeleteWhen I first heard about biting, it didn't really shock or surprise me because I know that kids, especially teens, do off-the-wall things all the time. The thing that did shock me was the blood drawing. Anytime blood is brought in the picture HIV can be contracted. I think biting is serious to an extent because a lot of people close to me does not engage in this activity, but you can still learn from other people's mistakes. I do not agree that intimacy should be taken to that level but you can't stop people from doing what they want to do. The only thing "biting" does is open up the door for more people to contract HIV. -Lonell Reeves
ReplyDeleteThis is disgusting. People should not be biting people to the point where they bleed. Diseases can be spread like this.
ReplyDeletewhen i first heard about the biting thing i thought that was kinda weird because why would teens want go around biting people until they bleed for fun thats just nasty,to be honest i think that you can get hiv from it because of the blood to blood contact.i think it is serious because people now-a-days are contracting diseases in many different ways.
