A group of high school and college students collaborated this summer to work with community-based organizations throughout Springfield, Illinois. Not only did they gain hands-on experience working with these organizations and interacting with the public, they also organized a successful one-day Youth Summit on HIV and AIDS awareness. During a busy eight weeks, they also found time to write, direct, and perform in an HIV public service announcement targeting their peers. The PSA is being released today, December 1, 2010, for World AIDS Day. Congratulations to our BASUAH Ambassadors for a job well done!
